Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons as a tight-end within the National Football League. The NFL's most successful tight ends and the third best overall receivers, he has been recognized as the NFL's most effective tight end, in terms of receptions, yards he has received, made, etc.

The former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as a FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez is a regular presenter on FOX NFL KICKOFF in the start of the NFL's season in 2017. The pregame program, lasting an hour, is a precursor to FOX NFL Sunday on Sundays beginning at 11 AM ET throughout the NFL Season.
Gonzalez's claim to be retiring in the NFL at the end of the year 2013 wasn't true. On the 15th of March 2013, Gonzalez was signed by the Falcons the two-year deal worth $14,000,000. After the departure of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez spent his last season as the league's top player in receiving yards.
